#1 Giant Nubble Jul 10, 2015 Visited the Nubble and Washbowl. I was startled by a bear cub, who I in turn startled and he luckily ran off.
#2 Rooster Comb Jul 11, 2015 A surprising little spot. I enjoyed the hike in and enjoyed the views. Very pleasant and time well spent in good company.
#3 Pitchoff Mountain Jul 12, 2015 Loved the trail. A warm, sunny summer day...perfect for a long rest at the summit which allowed for taking in the view of Cascade!
#4 Bald Peak Sep 27, 2015 Crossed Bald Peak as part of an RPR- Giant Traverse. An enjoyable climb, mild weather, beautiful foliage and good company made the visit to this spot an immensely enjoyable one!
#5 Indian Head Oct 10, 2015 A great fall hike with beautiful foliage. Spent a good long while taking in the views.
#6 First Brother Oct 11, 2015 Fall foliage at its finest. Such a beautiful hike and glowing leaves shone all day.
#7 Noonmark Mountain Jul 03, 2016 Navigating some challenging scrambles was rewarded with a peaceful spot at the top from which to appreciate the splendor of the ADKs. Spent almost an hour just taking it all in before my descent.
#8 Wright Peak Jul 17, 2016 A warm but pleasant summer day. Great trail company made the climb a snap! I lucked out and chose a virtually windless day to hike this peak- which allowed for almost an hour of drinking in the views and relaxing at the top.
#9 Ampersand Mountain Aug 13, 2016 A rainy day gave way to sun and allowed for a beautiful view. But rain clouds in the distance kept our summit visit short. A great hike with great friends.
#10 Saint Regis Mountain Sep 04, 2016 My Saranac 6er final peak. A warm but pleasant summer day. I loved the trail and the climb. And the summit views were just amazing!
#11 Buck Mountain Jan 01, 2017 Fun snowshoe hike to start the new year. Blue skies and amazing views.
#12 Hadley Mountain Jun 15, 2017 Very warm summer day. Beautiful views but bugs aplenty!
#13 Hurricane Mountain Jul 03, 2017 My first firetower ever! I was delighted to have the trail mostly to myself that day and the summit entirely to myself. A bit windy so I passed on climbing the tower itself!
#14 Poke-o-moonshine Sep 17, 2017 Sunny and VERY warm. A slow, steep ascent but enjoyable- followed the interpretive brochure to learn about the mountain.
#15 Hopkins Mountain Oct 01, 2017 I heard about this hike via word of mouth and was so glad that I did. A nice, wooded ascent gave way to an open summit with stunning views.
#16 Mt. Adams Oct 06, 2017 This climb was done after a rainy stretch of days. Rain stopped just before the hike so the trail was wet, wet, wet. But the view from above was such a reward!
#17 Owls Head Oct 07, 2017 The rain clouds parted after my hike of Blue Mountain so I headed to Owls Head. The pleasant climb in slightly uncomfortable humidity was rewarded with a summit that I had all to myself and great views in the newly cleared sky!
#18 Blue Mountain Oct 07, 2017 Rainy and wet. The summit was cloud bound. No views to be had and limited time at the summit due to rain.
#19 Cat Mountain Oct 13, 2017 Surprisingly beautiful hike. Gorgeous fall day with amazing views!
#20 Blueberry Mountain Oct 14, 2017 A lovely way to descend after a Cascade-Porter traverse. A gray day which afforded no summit views gave way to sunny skies and a pleasant descent.
#21 Jay Mountain Oct 15, 2017 A mild fall day. The range was simply beautiful. All the ups and downs made the range seem much longer than it actually is! A great day all around!
#22 Black Mountain Oct 21, 2017 Fall foliage at it's peak! Lovely loop with a tough climb to the summit from the shore of Lake George!
#23 Fivemile Mountain Nov 04, 2017 Another lovely fall day. So pleasant and pretty. Lake George area never disappoints!
#24 Snowy Mountain Oct 06, 2018 Dreary fall day. Gray and wet all the way with the summit socked in. I need to go back for the view!
#25 Wakely Mountain Oct 07, 2018 Breaks of sun amongst the clouds all along the way. The trail was beautiful and serene. No views from the summit but the clouds cleared when we hit the beaver pond area on the descent!
#26 Lyon Mountain Feb 16, 2019 Fun, challenging winter snowshoe. Drifted snow made the ascent one filled with trail breaking. Wind covered our tracks and trail finding was in order on the descent. Windy at the summit. Beautiful views and we were able to see Montreal!
#27 Loon Lake Mountain Mar 09, 2019 A challenging but fun winter snow shoe. Steep trails, trail breaking and blue bird skies plus amazing friends made for a great winter adventure!
#28 Treadway Mountain Aug 01, 2019 Well maintained trail. Peaceful, serene. A new favorite hike!
#29 Peaked Mountain Sep 30, 2019 Beautiful early fall hike. Colors just starting to change. Great views at the pond as well as from the summit. Serenity! My final peak of the challenge! :)
